A standard bay window measures 3 by 1 meter. At Mag bugbriek, we take it a step further, starting at a depth of 1.5 meters. Officially, a bay window can take up a maximum of 85% of the width of the front façade. For example, with a façade 5 meters wide, the bay window can be up to 4.25 meters wide. You are free to make your own choices, but this can serve as a useful guideline for determining the size of your bay window.
Determining the right dimensions is the first step in designing your bay window. Once you’ve entered the size into our configurator tool, you can move on to choosing from the many available options.

Options for a bay window extension

This includes options such as façade cladding, window frames, and the roof. Additionally, you can add features like a downpipe, outdoor lighting, and even an outdoor tap. Inside, there are various possibilities as well, such as wall finishes, the inclusion of underfloor heating, and built-in power outlets.
