The floor consists of a prefab-insulated system floor with an insulation value of Rc 4.5 m².K/W. The walls of the extension are made of a steel skeleton frame, with an insulation value of Rc 4.9 m².K/W. The roof consists of a steel beam layer with an insulation value of Rc 6.0 m².K/W.

Most of the work takes place not at your home, but in the workshop. Additionally, the quality of prefab construction is always guaranteed because the construction conditions are ideal. A further advantage is that more attention is given to the details beforehand, as everything must be made before the construction starts. This helps eliminate potential construction errors early on, which would otherwise only become apparent later. In short, there are quite a few advantages.

If there is an existing extension, it is possible for us to build next to the existing extension. The only thing that cannot be done is building on the existing floor. In that case, we first need to demolish the existing floor.

With regular maintenance, your extension is on par with a regular house.

After measuring/drawing the extension, it will become clear if it’s possible to have the walls/ceiling run smoothly. In a terraced house, the walls always come inward.

The tiles must be removed from the width and depth of the extension so that the extension can be completed in 5 days. The tiles and excavated soil can be placed in « big bags, » at least 4 meters from the back wall. On the lifting day, these will be taken from the garden and placed in containers.

Unfortunately, construction causes disruption with every contractor, and MAG BUGBRIEK is no exception. It may happen that new wishes arise during the construction project or that we encounter unforeseen issues. Often, these matters are resolved on-site by us or a partner. Of course, this brings additional costs. These costs will be outlined in a change order invoice at the end of the project.
